Five things Makayla smartened me up To:
1. She is 8 years old, not 7.
2. She made me a necklace but wasn't sure how big my head was.
3. She jumped right into the food because she knew I would stop her to pray anyway.
4. She heard somebody say a cuss word, and asked, "Paw Paw, you ain't gonna say something to them?" P.S. - Thank Jesus they left. Bondsman gone to beach.
5. When I buckled her in her Mom's car seat, I asked her, "Makayla, do you know how much I love you?" She said, "Of course, Paw Paw!"
Now, the hardest part of my job; watching my world pull away as me and Steve Perry make our town.
